What we collect
- Details you give us in forms, by email or by phone: name, company, email, phone, site postcode and details of your site or space requirement.
- For tenants and owners: contract, billing and payment information, meter readings and correspondence.
- Website usage data through analytics cookies, only if you accept them.
How we use it
- To reply to enquiries and appraisal requests (legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract).
- To provide space, manage sites and run the owner portal (contract).
- To keep accounts and meet legal obligations such as VAT (legal obligation).
- To tell you about suitable space if you ask us to (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the business, including our email, hosting, booking and accounting systems (for example Stora for storage bookings and Xero for accounts), professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go further are deleted after 24 months. Tenant and owner records are kept for six years after the relationship ends for legal and tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Contact us at info@stagstorage.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
